Description

In the winter of 2022, I was a member of RBC’s Design Thinking Program cohort at Western University. Over 12 weeks, I worked in a team to develop a prototype of a technical product that benefits university students at Western University. Our team created a product, the Clean Coffee Initiative, that aimed to encourage university students to be more sustainable when purchasing and drinking coffee. Our group presented our product prototype to Western University senior faculty as well as RBC executives.

In addition to the Clean Coffee Initiative prototype, I attended weekly seminars from RBC employees on design thinking, UI/UX design, inclusive design, technical consulting, and oral presentation skills. Product ideation, mock-ups, prototyping, and presentation were done in Figma. I’d like to think that our discussion and initiative helps contribute to Western University’s top 10 ranking in global sustainability.
